My First Day As a College Freshman

Everyone's first day of school is the usual.  Its either the worst day of your life or the best day of your life.  But the first day of college is something totally different.  My first day of college was something to remember.  I'm going to be honest with you.  You won't like college unless you like to write essays and papers.  As a student, writing papers and essays are very interesting to me.  Writing isn't easy but it's worth it.  On my first day, I had to write papers on papers.  I had homework on my first night.  I have never gotten homework on my first night before.  Trust me, you do not want to be doing homework on my first night of college.  The next day, is very important.  Be ready to take notes! Not on your laptop or tablet.  The original, old fashioned pen and paper.  I know you think laptops and tablets are the new thing and it's a better way to jot notes, but it's not.  Pen and paper will help you understand what the professor is educating you with.  You can go back to the notes and reread them.  As a college student, time management is a must!  If you don't manage your time, you won't be able to succeed in college.  You must manage your time to study, do homework, and prepare for test that coming up.  As a college student, I manage my time to do work, study, and even go to the gym.  That's my opinion.  But anyways, college is very enjoyable.  You will have a great experience but remember why you are there!
